World Records

One interesting record is the most dangerous ant in the world. Found in coastal regions in Australia, they call the ant a bulldog. When the ant attacks they used both of their jaws. They call it a bulldog ant because of its ferocity and determination during its attack. It is also extremely aggressive and shows little fear of human beings. Also, if they bite you they will hold on to its victim with their long teeth. The most interesting fact about the ant’s sting is it has been enough to kill adults within 15 minutes.

This record is more interesting because it is about push up.  Williams makes 2,220 push ups in one hour. He also breaks his own record which is 1,874 push ups in one hour too.

Most push ups in one hour (male)

Another record is the most pull ups with a 60 lb (27.2 kg) pack in one minute. He  broke the record – he made 18 pull ups with 60 lb(27.2 kg) pack, and that is the most interesting pull up I’ve ever seen in my entire life.

Cowboy life

From the perspective of a cowboy:

I am under the tree making a fire to get ready to sleep. Before I went to sleep, the food that I ate was 1 can of beef and also 2 cans of pears. One day last week I traveled from Texas to Kansas to put the cows in the train. The train was very huge and long so all the animals can fit in. I have a horse name M.I.B, he is so smart and elegant. The color of my horse is white.

On my way home from Kansas, I met a friend he is very honest and hardworking. My friend likes to work and hunt, also he is an Indian. He told me that his mission was to look for the buffalo. Me and my friend hunted for those buffalo, he took me to tribal land, his land, because he wanted me to meet his family. His family is so nice. Every evening, me and my friend always went racing with our horses.

That evening we were racing, we saw the buffalo running north. We went and told all the Indian men. The next day, me and my friend and all the Indians, we went and looked for the buffalo. After we found the buffalo, we went back and got our weapons ready. My friend taught me how to make an arrow, the arrow is sharp and made of wood. I told my friend I don’t use arrows, I only use guns. So I gave all the Indian men a gun and arrow to kill some buffalo. One of the Indian men cut one of the buffalo’s throat and took out the heart and let me eat it without cooking it.

I am  a cowboy under the tree remembering all the things I’ve been through, like when I met my Indian friend. Also when I traveled to Kansas, and hunted for the buffalo. Now I am so tired and I am going to sleep. Tomorrow I am going to meet with my Indian friend.

People Should Not Be A Bully

My problem is about bully because one day me and my cousin went to Walmart, and I saw a lady throw a plum to an old lady’s head. And I was worried if the old lady was okay, and then the lady who threw the plum got arrested. This is an example of bullying because the lady didn’t say sorry to the old lady. Instead she swore at the old lady. That was why she got arrested, because she didn’t give the old lady respect. I want to write this letter to the people that bullying other people. Bullying is not good because the person that bullies can hurt himself or you and your family. People should give all others respect.

Marshall Islands climate change

I read two articles. The first one was called “Climate Change Threatens to Destroy Marshall Islands.” This was about how the  Marshall Islands are changing. The water from the ocean affects the islands very quickly, also the water is rising. In the future, the water might almost make the Marshall Islands disappear. Tony De Brum, Foreign Minister for the Marshall Islands, said that, “Anything that the sea does is felt immediately by our people. As the tied comes in a lot higher than it used, it begins to affect life as we know it. Not only as to where you can live or have a family, but also where you can grow your food, where you draw your water, and where you bury your dead.” This quote is important because it explains that the people are going to look for where they can live and have a family and also where they can bury their families.

The other article that I read is about a climate pact. This article talks about a girl who is 18 years old,  and she is trying to help the Marshall Islands. She wrote a letter that the people have to stop the pollution which causes the global warming. In her letter, she says that her grandpa told her that “how the earth was warming, even at young age, I could notice that it has indeed gotten warmer.”

Here is a video about the girl who wrote this letter.

Here is another video. This video is about climate change in Marshall Islands.
